Kids Ministry
We love seeing children enjoy coming to church and loving God! Kids Current has age-specific nursery, preschool and school-age classes for children, ages infant – 5th grade. Everything we do within children’s ministry is focused on bringing children to a real and active relationship with God at an early age.
Student Ministry
What are you doing with your Wednesday and Sunday nights? If it’s texting, Twitter, Facebook, or anything other than CORE, you’re missing out! CORE is a place where you can come as you are, meet friends to hang out with, find leaders who care about you and get in on tons of fun and craziness each week.
There’s great worship and solid teaching from God’s Word that will give you the truth that you need to get through the maze of life called “teenage years” and help build you into the champion God created you to be!

Young Adults
If you’re in the age range of 18-25 years old, then our young adults ministry is the place for you. This group is full of excitement, opportunities and challenge. Connect with other young adults going after Jesus. Join us on Wednesday Nights at 7:00. Then Sunday mornings at 10:00am we come together for worship. We also have a full calendar till the end of the year of outreach, evangelism, conferences and more.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s ministry of COLW welcomes women of all ages and walks of life. It is our purpose to meet ladies right where they are at and to come along side of them to encourage, support, pray and equip them in their journey with God to be an influence to their families, friends and community for the glory of God.
Titus 2:3-5
3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
Men’s Ministry
Iron Man Ministry’s purpose is to help men become better husbands, fathers and friends. It is our passion to help every man walk in honor, integrity and to fully embrace his responsibility as the shepherd over his family. Men are called to model a loving, Christ-like example as they guide, guard and govern their wives and children.
Each week, the Men of COLW come together for an encouraging word, prayer and a time to just hang out with other guys. We hope to meet you at our weekly class and build a friendship.
Proverbs 27:17 says, “as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”.
Outreach
The Outreach Ministry at COLW seeks to impact the lives of the poor, brokenhearted, captives, blind, and oppressed.
Many lives are being transformed every week in the the Rosenberg/Richmond area as passionate groups walk out a life of evangelism.
At COLW we build, equip and mobilize a strong church family team to help bring about a city wide revival.
Opportunities: Prison, Homeless, Nursing Home, Door to door and much more.
The Sheepfold Ministry
What is the Sheepfold Ministry?
It is a residential Christian Home, Education, and Drug Abuse Prevention Program. We are a non-profit organization and are open to the general public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
What do we do?
Sheepfold Ministry is the headquarters for detoxification and behavior rehabilitation. In the detoxification phase of the program, we do not dispense any kind of synthetic drugs for withdrawal symptoms. Instead, we offer alternatives such as one-on-one counseling and motivation to achieve a drug-free condition in the individual. While the client is at Sheepfold House, they are encouraged to become actively involved in the many activities that we offer. This includes a variety of things such as positive fellowship with other clients as they participate in Chapel Services, Bible studies, and Discipleship. Sheepfold Ministry works with the client’s entire family dynamic to ensure that every aspect of the client’s life is positively integrated.
Prayer Ministry
The Prayer house is a quiet and peaceful place to be in prayer. It is open through the week at scheduled times. If you would like to be able to pray please email our church office and we will send you a door code.
